Nuts and Seeds

You know I just learnt over the weekend that it’s best to soak nuts and seeds before using them for your peanut soups and what not?

The reason is, nuts and seeds have enzyme inhibitors protecting them until they’re ready to germinate.

So soaking them mimics a huge rainfall, where the enzyme inhibitors are neutralized, toxins are drawn out and that also kick-starts the sprouting process and bumps up the nutritional value of these nuts and seeds making them more easily digestible!

So remember, soak your nuts and seeds overnight before using them to reap their full benefits!
