The Spielberg Game
We’re gonna talk about the Spielberg game today.
But before that, let’s find out how this wildly successful (once upon a time) youngest film director got to sign a long-term studio deal
Apparently, as soon as he finished high school, he reduced the amount of time spent at college by rearranging his classes such that he could spend three days at Universal, watching filmmakers at work, and asking directors and Hollywood actors to lunch!
He was only 19 at that time and he already knew that film-making is not just about filming
but all about people.
His focus was on building genuine relationships, not networking but everything to do with making friends and focusing on people – now that’s the Spielberg Game, the secret to his resounding success
If you wanna be successful at what you do, build genuine friendships and make people (not profits) your priority.
